I am embarrassed to admit that I was captured on film and the photo was published by the worst public figure possible, Dr. David Gainsman. Gainsman has long held the theory that reptile aliens are controlling all of the world’s most powerful people.
On my first assignment in Austria, I’d completed a very banal task of reconnaissance. A suspected group of terrorists turned out to be loudmouth teenagers who had absolutely no capacity or serious interest in political threats. I was told to cut the assignment short and had hours of free time to spare in Austria. I’d always wanted to visit Melk Abby and, being a master of clandestine operations, didn’t see the harm in sneaking in. I was so enthralled reading an ancient manuscript housed in its library that I completely lost focus.
As misfortune would have it, a security guard at the museum was able to record images of me with his phone. I’d reacted as quickly as possible by snatching the camera phone with my tongue, but Mr. Holtz, or Dr. Gainsman were able to recover the photos somehow. I believe my team and I may not have erased them from the phone’s cloud storage in time.
