Dr. Mera is disappointed with me for ostensibly failing to recover the Infection Signal for the agency. If she could’ve brought them this new weapon, it would’ve cemented her influence within the highest echelons of government as well as proven the value of the Generation Kymera Program 

I believe I successfully convinced Dr. Mera that Dr. Syd was the only one who could recreate that software. With Dr. Mera, though, it’s just as possible that, without letting on, she suspects I’m lying to her. 

The agency is now pouring all of their resources into finding Dr. Syd. I will do everything in my power to ensure they fail. I decided that when I edited Daart’s statement. Some of what he said would’ve provided a way to recover the Infection Signal. It may have also put Daart in danger. 

The Infection Signal app is stowed safely in a place only I can access. Knowing its power, having been a victim of it myself, I couldn’t let Dr. Mera or anyone else have it.
